Liverpool are looking to extend their contract with Jurgen Klopp, but the move could fail because of the effects of climate change on the planet.

Klopp arrived in Liverpool in October 2015 and led the team to the Champions League and a permanent competition for the top of the Premier League.

Klopp, 52, has renewed his contract with the club and extended his commitment until 2022 and has said in previous statements that he may retire from training after the end of his contract with the "Reds".

However, Klopp's agent Mark Kusik made fresh comments that the future of the German coach at Liverpool could be determined by the weather.

"The club wants to extend the contract with Klopp, but it is still early and we have to wait if the phenomenon of climate change will improve the atmosphere in Britain," Cusick was quoted as saying.

He explained that the German coach is tired of the weather conditions in Liverpool, during the winter period, his wife is deposited in the dark in the morning and back in the dark in the evening, pointing out that the coaches in Germany benefit from a two-week vacation during the winter break before returning to training in warm areas to prepare for the second section of Season, away from the cold weather in Germany in that period.

Coaches in England, meanwhile, are required to lead their teams in the same period for almost 13 games, which is considered exhausted.

Klopp is looking forward to leading Liverpool to the Premier League title this season to crown the great work he has done since taking over.
