This facility is set up by organizations that support LGBT people to expand their understanding in the world of sports, and is named “Pride House Tokyo 2019”.

It will be set up in Harajuku, Tokyo from 20th November to 4th November, when the Rugby World Cup Japan tournament starts, and anyone can enter it freely.

During this period, various events will be held, such as lectures by athletes expressing LGBT, display of picture books and comics based on LGBT, and individual consultations.

These facilities have been set up at the Olympics and Soccer World Cup so far, and are planned to be set up at the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics next year.

“Pride House Tokyo” representative Masanori Matsunaka says, “I want to make people think that it is a positive thing to be different from people, not just LGBT people.”
