Spain completed their successful campaign with an eighth consecutive victory and dropped Argentina in the final to win the World Cup for the second time.
Spain won their only previous title in Japan in 2006 before winning their second title on Asian soil.
In contrast, Argentina lost the final for the second time, where they fell in the 2002 final in the United States of America note that the team won the only previous title during the first edition of the tournament, hosted by his country in 1950.
The Argentine national team suffered its first defeat in the current tournament after winning seven consecutive wins over the various rounds of the championship.
