Former boxing world champion in five weight classes, American Floyd Mayweather said that a show fight will be held between him and the current World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title holder Filipino Manny Pacquiao.

This Mayweather announced on his Instagram.

According to him, the fight will soon take place in Japanese Tokyo. However, he did not name the date of the event.

The first fight between the boxers took place on May 2, 2015 in Las Vegas. According to the results of a 12-round battle, the judges gave the victory to the American.

In August, Mayweather said that he was negotiating a rematch with Pacquiao, but then he himself denied his words.

Earlier, the 2019 European Games champion Muslim Gadzhimagomedov said Mayweather would have defeated UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in boxing.
