It was a month ago that the Ladies Crown announced that they were boycotting national team games, and that they would not play in the upcoming five-nation tournament in Finland.

Since then, the Women's Crowns, represented by the players' union Sico, and unions have failed to resolve the conflict. Now it is clear that the home tournament in Luleå is set in November, a message the union left on its website.

- Having to cancel the tournament in Luleå feels very boring. A home tournament for the Ladies crown had been a chance to play against the world's best players this season as well, and was an important element in our preparations to advance to the A-World Championships later this spring. We feel that we have had good conversations with SICO and together with SDHL have agreed to most of the demands made, says Tommy Boustedt, secretary general of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association.
