Stockholm exchange ended in black-yellow
AIK won the SDHL premiere at Hovet against Djurgården by 2-0. National team star Lisa Johansson started the goal shooting. Djurgården thought they had acknowledged in a messy situation at the end of the first period, but DIF's Josefine Jakobsen had to cancel the celebration when the judges' goal signal failed. AIK's Erica Udén Johansson's 2-0 in the third period punctured the match.
Bumper sticker SDE pounced on last year's finalist
SVT's expert Maria Rooth has warned before the season starts that SDE may surprise. Seen at the SDHL premiere, it may very well be true. Linköping, who has been in the SM final for five of the last six seasons, failed to crack zero on Sofia Reideborn in the SDE goal and the match ended 2-0 to the Stockholm team. Goal scorer both times: Kelty Apperson.
Goal scored in Leksand - victory for HV71
HV71 is also tipped as one of the top teams this season and certainly the Jönköpings team felt superior when they defeated Leksand 6-2 away. In the premiere, two debutants showed the forefoot: Danielle Stone and Anna Borgqvist who scored one goal each - both recruited from the opposing team Leksand.
Lara Stalder saved Brynäs with hattrick
It was 1-1 between Brynäs and Gothenburg for the third period. At that, Lara Stalder switched clubs - and did a hat trick. Three goals within ten minutes were scored in the goal record for the 25-year-old from Switzerland, in a match that Brynäs eventually won 5-1.
- I changed the club for the last period. There was probably nothing wrong with the other, but I wanted to do something - and then I took another club. And, yes ... something happened, says the Hattrick hero to Gefle Dagblad.
