Men's board diving Takeshi Terauchi won the championship Olympics offer September 7th 23:16

Takeshi Terauchi won the Asian Cup of the diving held in Malaysia and the men's board, and was selected as the Tokyo Olympics representative. Terauchi's representative offer is the second event following the men's sync board jumping.

The Japan Swimming Federation has positioned the Asian Cup to be held this month as a tournament for selecting the Tokyo Olympics, following the July World Championships for individual events of diving.

Terauchi won the Asian Cup men's board jumping in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was appointed as the Olympic team.

Terauchi's representative offer is the second event following the men's sync board jumping.

Terauchi is 39 years old from Hyogo Prefecture.

At the world championship in July, we decided to be the representative of the Olympics with Akira Sakai by jumping into the men's sync board, and became the first national representative of Japan through all competitions.

If you participate in the Tokyo tournament, the summer Olympics will be six tournaments, and will be the most Japanese players alongside the equestrian Taizo Sugitani.

About Ken Terauchi

When he was in fifth grade, he switched from swimming to diving, and when he was in junior high school, he became the first to win the youngest championship at the time due to the high jump of the Japanese Championship.

The first appearance of the Olympics is the 1996 Atlanta Games.

In the 2001 World Championships, he has been pulling in Japan for many years, such as being in third place in the board and winning his first medal in Japan.

He announced his retirement in 2009 after the Beijing Games, the fourth consecutive Olympics, but later returned to active duty and participated in the previous Rio de Janeiro Games.
