It started well for Djurgården when Albin Grewe scored his first competition goal in the A-team, giving Djurgården the lead halfway into the first period. But it would be the last time the Stockholm team had the lead in the match. Because after Vienna made it 2-1 after one minute in the second, the Austrian team was a snap before the whole match.

However, Djurgården tried to take command again in the match, and looked to be able to do so when Marcus Högström on his own made 3-3 already after 26 seconds in the third period. But after that, the team lost everything.

Vienna scored three goals in eight minutes and went off to a 6-3 lead, and after that Djurgården could not rise again. The 6-3 victory was Vienna's first in this year's CHL.

And after the match, SVT Sports expert Nils Ekman was at least disappointed with Djurgården's game against Vienna.

- There are many things that do not work, says Nils Ekman.
