Galatasaray fans have organized a legendary reception for Colombian star Radamel Falcao, and Galatasaray announced on Monday evening that 33-year-old Falcao has been transferred from French club Monaco. 16 goals last season.
Galatasaray signed Falcao free of charge for a period of three years. The striker will be paid 5 million euros a year and Falcao has played in Monaco, Chelsea, Manchester United (England), Atletico Madrid, Porto and River Plate.
Galatasaray play in a tough group with Paris St Germain, Real Madrid and Bruges.
