Skellefteå got a nice start away from Bern when Andreas wingerli offered a real delicacy. In a game reversal, he was depressed as he began to approach the goal, but succeeded despite a lying position passing the puck to Albin Eriksson who could easily put 1-0 in the open box after just under seven minutes.

But the joy would be short-lived. Despite a big takeover in the first period for Skellefteå, Bern was able to put 1-1 just over two minutes later in one of the first real attacks for the home team, which was energized by the goal.

Three quick Skellefteå

In others, the home team continued to create chances, and also took the lead nine minutes into the period. But even then, there would be a quick response when Adam Pettersson signed just one and a half minutes later.

And just 16 seconds later, 3-2 to Saik. And it was once again the duo from 1-0 who stayed ahead. But this time it was Albin Eriksson who would find Wingerli centrally after spinning up the Bern defense. Skellefteå was not clear there, but six minutes later also came 4-2 when Rickard Hugg in seemingly harmless found a gap between the legs of the goalkeeper.

The Swede stepped forward for Bern

But then Calle Andersson stepped into the goal record. With 30 seconds left of the period, he stepped forward on the left in a Bern attack, and after a perfect pass through the middle of Mark Acobello, he got open goal and easily put the reduction. Andersson was not finished there, for four minutes into the third he stepped forward again, this time in powerplay. After getting the puck at the blue line he took a few cuts and bombed 4-4 in the far cross behind a hidden Gustaf Lindvall.

Punishments decided again

After that there were no more goals, and the match went to penalties for the second time in a week between the two teams. And just as in the first meeting, it was another victory for Skellefteå when Albin Eriksson became the only goal scorer.
