Blanca Fernández Ochoa could be cremated this Friday in Pozuelo . His family has been on Thursday morning at the Forensic Anatomical Institute , where the autopsy tests have been done, and he has requested it. If authorized, today it could be transferred to Cercedilla for the wake and tomorrow the incineration of the body would occur.
The results of the DNA tests are still pending resolution, but according to sources close to the case, one of the skier's sisters has already identified the body, so it would not be necessary to wait for that confirmation. It could happen, however, that the Scientific Police was to perform some additional evidence and therefore the court in charge of the investigation of the event does not yet authorize the incineration.
It is also expected that there may be a preliminary autopsy report today . However, additional evidence that could reveal whether the cause of death was different from an accident may take weeks to show results. Among them are the toxicological tests that have to be analyzed in a laboratory to find out if there is a cause of death for any reason other than trauma.
