The Spanish Fernando Alonso successfully completed two training days at the wheel of the Toyota Hilux in the Polish town of Szczecin with more than 700 kilometers traveled, including some areas of Lower Poland organized by the Toyota Gazoo Racing team.
Alonso's new tests with the Toyota Hilux of the Dakar were carried out on several types of tracks, from sand to hard and soft terrain and areas of large potholes.
Alonso will participate in South Africa in the Lichtenburg 400 , the fifth test of the South African Cross Country Series , on September 13 and 14 , initially scheduled to take place in Harrismith, a test of the South African Cross Country championship that had to be transferred to his new location due to drought conditions that posed a high risk of fire.
