The launch of the logo is an important stop for FIFA
FIFA and the Supreme Committee for Projects and Legacy are responsible for preparations for the tournament on the way to the organization of the first World Cup in the Arab world and the Middle East.

An innovative digital campaign will be launched for the first time at the level of the World Cup, accompanied by the display of the logo on the facades of landmarks in the host country and different Arab countries, in addition to display on giant screens with a number of
World capitals concurrently Tuesday evening.

Just as the final date of the 2022 World Cup was closed on 18 December in conjunction with Qatar's national day, the date of the tournament was set to unveil the tournament's logo along with another historic day, Independence Day.

Today's announcement culminates in an important phase in the preparations for the tournament, during which Doha has succeeded in completing 75% of the preparations and the completion of works in a number of stadiums, and progress significantly in other stadiums.

Qatar has officially opened two hosts, Khalifa International Stadium in 2017 and the South Stadium (formerly Al Wakra) in the middle of this year.

It is expected that the coming months will see the opening of more than the World Cup stadium, especially the home stadiums and Al Rayyan, which may open during the Club World Cup in December.

Qatar aspires to complete work on all stadiums before the end of 2020, and two years before the tournament, a challenge never before achieved in the history of the tournament.

Qatar is also proud to complete a large part of the work without recording major accidents, thanks to the keenness to enhance safety conditions in construction workshops and ensure respect for the rights of workers involved in the completion of various facilities.
