The logo of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be unveiled Tuesday evening.

It was also shown on giant screens in various regions of Turkey, London, Paris, and the train station in the German capital Berlin, as well as in the Italian city of Milan, the Spanish capital Madrid, in the Russian capital Moscow, Mumbai, India, Seoul, South Korea, and in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Just as the final date of the 2022 World Cup was concluded on December 18, coinciding with Qatar's National Day, the date of the tournament was set to be unveiled to coincide with another historic day, Qatar Independence Day.

The launch of the tournament's logo marks the start of the countdown to the tournament, which will take place three years later in Qatar between 21 November and 18 December 2022.
