The home team Nyköbing Falster with Anna Lagerquist and Angelica Wallén on the pitch led in the final minutes against Johanna Bundsens Copenhagen. Nyköbing had turned a three-goal sub and led 27-26 when six seconds remained of the league premiere.

In the Danish league there is a time out button that the leaders can press to stop the match. It took full advantage of the away team. The Copenhagen coach sent his physiotherapist who with a push of a button stopped the match.

"So low in so many ways"

The problem? It is only allowed to take time out when one's team has the ball. They did not, and Nyköbing was punished. The time out was a desperate attempt to get hold of the ball if the ensuing penalty shot failed.

- I think it is so low in so many ways by their coaches, I have never experienced anything so unsportsmanlike. After the match he stands for his act and says he can think of doing it again. It's so sad that a coach should try to decide the match off the bench, writes Angelica Wallén on her blog in Skaraborgs Allehanda.

The coach: "Realizes that we appear unsympathetic"

The penalty was scored and Nyköbing won with 28-26, but it did not spare the Copenhagen leaders from a minor hate storm.

- I am extremely grateful that it was not my coach who did such a thing, I had not been able to look him in the eyes after that, I had lost respect completely, Wallén writes.

- I realize that it is a water divider and that we appear to be unsympathetic. But we are struggling hard to get points, says Copenhagen coach Claus Morgensen according to tv2.
