The Women and Sports Committee of the Dubai Sports Council announced that it will organize a workshop to explain the details of the seventh edition of the “Sheikha Hind Women's Sports Games” at 9:00 am at the Al Jaddaf Marriott Hotel, under the guidance of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum.
During the workshop, the technical and organizational regulations for each of the tournaments listed in the seventh edition of the tournament will be explained during the period from 12 to 26 October 2019, and will be presented in detail the requirements for registration in the session, and answer all questions and queries coordinators of women's committees in departments and institutions All matters related to registration and how to participate and play will be discussed.
The organizing committee has announced the competition program which includes 10 sports, namely basketball, volleyball, bowling, road racing, swimming, bicycles, badminton, chess, in addition to the two new games that have been added this year, the crossfit and challenge games. .
The organizing committee also set the timetable and schedule of competitions, where the bowling championship will start on Saturday 12 October, qualifying will begin in the basketball and volleyball tournaments 13 October, followed by the Challenge Games Championship which was recently added and will be held October 14, and badminton kicks off October 15, also kick off October 16.
The road race will be held on October 18, followed by the swimming championship on October 19, the bicycle tournament on October 22, and the cross-country championship on October 25. The badminton and chess tournaments will close on October 24, and the basketball and airplane tournaments will close on October 26.
The organizing committee invited all those wishing to participate in the seventh edition of the players from the institutions of government, semi-governmental and private sectors, to prepare teams and prepare for registration in early September, through the preparation of documents for the participation, and will be announced later the official registration outlets.
