The organizers of Formula 2 canceled the second race, which was supposed to be held as part of the stage in Belgium, in connection with the death of the French pilot Antoine Hubert.

This was reported by the press service of the racing series.

The organizers of Formula 2, Formula 1, and Formula 3 also expressed their condolences for the death of the rider.

Huber, 22, received injuries incompatible with life as a result of an accident on the second round of the Saturday race, and died in the hospital a few hours after the incident.

Hubert was the reigning GP3 Series champion and pilot of the Renault youth program. This season of Formula 2, he won two races - in Monaco and Le Castella.

It was previously reported that Charles Lecler won the Formula 1 Grand Prix qualification in Belgium.
