Luleå lost the CHL premiere against Augusburg the day before on penalties.

But they did not have to wait long for a CHL revenge. Today they won by 4-1 at home against Czech Liberec.

Finished in empty target cage

Two back goals signed by Daniel Sondell and Jesper Sellgren made Luleå 2-0 for the third period against Liberec.

The Czech team reduced halfway into the period but five minutes later Einar Emanuelsson made 3-1 to Luleå. Young Filip Hållander set the final score to 4-1 in an empty goal cage.

- Today we did many things much better, coach Thomas "Bulan" Berglund told Viasat after the match, where he paid tribute to goalkeeper Joel Lassinantti:

- A watchful effort.
