Together Ghoddos went from Östersund to Amiens in French Ligue 1. at the end of last summer, but before that it was rumored that Ghoddos was on his way to Spanish Huesca. According to Huesca, the clubs should have agreed on an agreement and Ghoddos should have flown down to sign, but Östersund then withdrew.

According to Fifa's judgment, it is a breach of contract. Ghoddos is considered to have signed a contract with Huesca which he has since broken.

SEK 40 million is a high sum and according to the judgment, it is Ghoddos himself who is personally responsible for payment.

- This judgment follows exactly the regulations that apply to transitions, says Hans Hultman at Fifa to SVT Sport.

- The 40 million figure is nothing we have published. The sum is not public, but it is Huesca itself who has provided € 4 million. I can agree that it sounds like a high sum, purely in person. But at the same time, the fine is dependent on how much a deal is worth. If there is a breach of contract in division 2, the amount will obviously be much smaller. It should be remembered that these players make a lot of money.

Stop for transitions

Östersund as a club is penalized for not operating under the next two transfer windows. In other words, stop all transitions for over a year. In addition, Ghoddos is suspended from gaming for four months. And the amount of the fine should be Ghoddos himself if the club does not go in and support.

How reasonable is it that Ghoddos himself is liable to pay?

- It is reasonable. It is he who broke the contract, says Hultman.

ÖFK will appeal to Cas

For Östersund, this can be a shock to death. The club has already sold many of its players who made success in the Allsvenskan and Europa games last year. Now you have to watch as the team drops in the table without being able to make new recruits. The only players you will be able to use are the existing and possibly juniors already in the club that you move up in the A-team. In addition, it is possible to pick up players who are on loan.

Östersund is expected to appeal the verdict in the Sports Arbitration Court Cas. The appeal must be within three weeks.

"We have today decided to start a process to appeal," said ÖFK press officer Niclas Lidström to SVT Sport yesterday.

Cas can, in the first stage, before the verdict comes, give Ghoddo's suspension with his suspension and Östersund can shoot his penalty by being able to shop under the nearest transfer window, Hultman says.

Östersund would not comment on the verdict any more than they will appeal.

- At present, we do not choose to comment on it because we are sure that we will get it right in the higher instance, says Niclas Lidström.

SVT is seeking Saman Ghoddos for Östersund for comments.
