Helsingborg came into play with one of the toughest weeks in the club's history against an Östersund that was hit by a one year transfer ban from FIFA, which was a real anxiety meeting at Olympia. But substitute coach Alexander Tengryd got a taste of his head coach's victory.

Took the lead after ten minutes

Alexander Farnerud was again in the starting eleven and it was on a pass from Farnerud's foot that Max Svensson was able to make 1-0 after ten minutes of play. Svensson got the ball a few meters outside the penalty area and then drove the ball decisively before firing a curling shot that struck at Aly Keita's left post.

Alhaji Gero would then show that the old saying - "family is the worst" - is still true. Gero, who joined Helsingborg from just Östersund in the summer window, tonight made his first goal for the new club. After the striker stressed the Östersund goalkeeper to a poor pass, Gero then got the ball into the penalty area after a header from Alexander Farnerud. Gero lifted the ball over an outgoing Keita and then thundered 2-0 for the home team.

Östersund's team captain Tom Pettersson was named after the match.

- What is there to say? I have a very hard time analyzing the match. Right now everything feels like hell. We let in for easy goals while we can't do anything forward. It's been that way all season. I'm damn empty, damned and disappointed, Pettersson told Cmore after the match.

That result stood and Helsingborg goes around Östersund on goal difference and is now in tenth place.
