The Sharjah Games Department Department has reviewed the preparations of the hand and basketball teams in the club, to participate in the various competitions of the new sport season 2019-2020, and to participate in the external entitlements in both Asian and Arab clubs.

This came during the meeting, which was held the day before yesterday, at the club's headquarters in the region of Samnan, and was attended by a member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club and head of the collective games department in the club Mohammed Obeid horse, and supervisors basketball and hand Ali Al-Amiri and Naji Rabia, and Executive Secretary of the Department Mohammed Al-Saharti.

The meeting discussed the preparations of the men's basketball team to participate in the Arab Champions League Championship, hosted by Morocco during the period from 21 to 31 October next, which will be followed by the participation of the hand team in the 22nd edition of the Asian Club Champions League, to be held in South Korea during the period from 7 to 17 November 2019.

The management of the games in the club to see the equipment of sports teams in all stages of the year, which continue the periods of preparation, such as the start of the start of the sports season, starting from the Super Cup men's hand, which starts on the sixth of next September.

Mohammed Obaid Al Hessan, Chairman of Sharjah Club's Games Department, said that the Department is keen to provide all the needs of the club's teams in order to continue to reap the achievements of the past seasons.

Mohammed Obaid said in a press statement that: «maintaining success requires much more effort than winning tournaments themselves, which is what we always seek by assessing the performance rates, and constantly check the preparations of the club teams, and meet all their requirements in order to continue to excel. "By supporting all team games with distinguished players, and selecting the best technical and managerial staff, this will contribute to the development of our players in all aspects."

The basketball team is preparing to participate in the Arab Clubs Championship in Morocco next October.
