Djurgården recruited several profiled players for the season and although few thought they would fight for an SM gold, no one probably thought that the team in this situation would have seven straight losses and lie on relegation place.

- It is a mix between very unlucky and many simple goals that we have let in. We have played well sometimes, bad sometimes and there have been many matches - but we still managed to lose, Schough says and continues:

- There is nothing that has gone our way, but we have struggled and there is still hope left.

"Does anyone need to go into this kind of situation is the coach"

Joel Riddez left his job as coach to work solely in the role of sports manager and was replaced by Pierre Fondin before the last match.

- All the credit to Joel who has had us for a period but if anyone needs to go in such a situation, it is the coach, says Schough and continues:

- And I noticed more Pierre in the last match that there was a little more energy. It will be easy so when you hear a new voice and some other training situations so I hope it can be good.

Do you feel as a star a greater responsibility?

- I feel that I have never taken as much responsibility as I did this year. It has been very rewarding for me and I firmly believe that we will fix this. But we have to do it together, says the 28-year-old.

European Championship qualifier awaits: "Will not be easy"

Djurgården's offensive play is part of the national team that, after the World Cup bronze, has been on Gotland a week before, and then to start the European qualification in Latvia.

"It's always fun to come here, but of course even more fun after the summer we had," says Schough, who does not think the opponents should be underestimated:

- We learned from the World Cup qualification that no matches are easy, so we practice a lot to be able to push through a tight defense game. It won't be easy even if it looks like it.
