FC Barcelona players Gerard Piqué and Arturo Vidal have won almost half a million euros in the EPT Barcelona poker tournament, which was played yesterday at the Casino Barcelona.
Piqué, who pocketed 352,950 euros, finished second in the final table of the event, in which the Spaniard Juan Pardo took the win, with 491,600 euros.
The Chilean Arturo Vidal finished fifth and won 134,460 euros, according to tournament organizers.
This is the first time Vidal attends the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Barcelona, a tournament in which Piqué regularly participates, which two years ago achieved almost 130,000 euros by finishing fifth in a similar event.
