It was already before the competition started that it was decided. Outside of the warm-up, Bengtsson made a mistake, which meant that when it was time to deliver, she didn't have the right conditions.
- I was just so stupid the whole stay out there. I took the wrong spells on the warm-up and I didn't realize it until the competition started. Then it was difficult to solve it after that.
After the competition, she is aware that it was her own fault. But not only was she reading the wrong, but the feeling was not the right one.
- I must have read the number wrong, and took two flex errors. All the warm-up, nothing was right, and then I didn't know which rod to jump with. I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
Bengtsson is now flying to Stockholm to take revenge at the Stockholm Stadium and Finnkampen tomorrow.
- It will be fun and have a second chance, she says.
