Linus Ullmark, goalkeeper of the NHL Buffalo Sabers team, thinks it is good that the women's crown puts his foot down.

- We must be equal on the women's and men's side. For me it is obvious that you should treat people the way you want to be treated yourself, Ullmark tells SVT Sport and continues:

- There must be a united front and that everyone works for a common goal.

Today, representatives of the Women's Crown and the Swedish Ice Hockey Association met for the first time since the player boycott and both parties had a positive autumn. A new meeting is scheduled for next week.

- There must be a plan. Otherwise, nothing can be achieved. The union has the power and responsibility to create change - for real, says Ullmark.

The NHL goalkeeper has been in contact with the women's players himself. He believes that conditions can be significantly better if only the union gives priority to it.

- We have succeeded before with investments in the juniors. Where they decided to bet and then had a big lift.

- We can be the best in the world even on the women's side and that will exist. I've talked to the girls myself and know.
