It was in a post on Facebook that Fredrik Samuelsson wrote about his dissatisfaction. He wrote, among other things, that he feels that the Swedish Athletic Association does not care about many fighters.

The post has been widely circulated and Samuelsson has already received little response from the federal team. He met with Captain Karin Torneklint during a sponsorship event on Wednesday and has been in contact with the Athletics Association's secretary general Stefan Olsson. The feeling is positive.

Want to get a triathlon in Finnkampen

- We will sit down in the future, sometime in the coming weeks and go through different wishes, he tells SVT Sport.

Something specific that you want to get through?

- Finnkampen is now this weekend, for example. There is not much fight with that. Getting a triathlon in Finnkampen is one of the points I want to put extra emphasis on. The same with Folksam GP and similar competitions.

It's not just the union that can step up, he says. Media coverage of the branch is not in par with the interest. It is often difficult to manage to broadcast a television broadcast where there is a multitude of broadcasts.

Will continue his venture

- I really feel that there is a great deal of interest in diversity in general. Personally, I have a damn move all around me. Many people want to see me compete. When I am at the European Championships and the World Cup, I have ten, fifteen people who are there to see me.

Although there would be no change, Samuelsson will continue his efforts.

- My dream is to participate in the Olympics and beat the Swedish records. Inside and out. Then you do not know how long you have the energy to continue, but I have no plans to give up.
