Sharjah defends the King's crown last season, with the first appearance of the team in the new season, when he arrives at 9:30 pm this evening to Bani Yas, in a meeting between them in the second group in the opening rounds of the Gulf Cup.

On the other hand, Bani Yas are looking to achieve their first historic victory over Sharjah in the Arabian Gulf Cup, after the only two meetings that brought the two teams in the groups league this tournament, superior to the King, winning in the 2013 edition with a result «2 - zero», which was followed Sharjah won the same role in the 2014 edition with a result of «1 - zero».
For his part, Sharjah coach, Abdulaziz Al-Anbari, in the press conference introducing the match, the readiness of all the players of the King to participate in the meeting of Bani Yas, with the exception of Uzbek professional Otabek Shocroff, who is still waiting for the final decision of the medical staff to participate in the matches.
Al Anbari said: "This season is difficult for the team because Sharjah enters the season as a champion of the Arabian Gulf League, and all eyes are on him, especially as all the championships of the season are important to us to maintain what we have provided last season of successes."

Al-Anbari pointed to the payment of young elements during the meeting of Bani Yas, stressing that the tournament system allows the payment of three players born in 1997.
