Never before, until Bugatti did a few months ago, a new car had been sold for the sidereal price (with taxes) of 15 million euros. It was the Voiture Noire, a unique piece destined to satisfy the ego of its lucky possessor. As a reference, its price is 10 times higher than the Veyron, the model with which the exclusive French manufacturer began to forge its elitist image in this 21st century.
Now, in the lounge of the excesses that is the week of the motor of Monterey, in California, the Bugatti Centodieci makes its appearance. A 'hypercar', as monsters are now called that exceed the level of the 'mere' supercars.
It will not be a copy as exclusive as the Voiture Noire since ten units will be built from the Centodieci; neither so expensive (eight million euros plus taxes, which in Spain would raise the bill to more than 10), but more powerful. And surely Cristiano Ronaldo, a great lover of cars of this brand, would be delighted to get one ... if he has not done so, which we would know soon.
The Centodieci, as a good heir of the EB110 supercar of the 90s, will raise the bar of its 16-cylinder engine in W to 1,600 hp, more than any other Bugatti. Enough so that, if the electronics did not prevent it, it could roll over 400 km / h (it will have to comply with 380, which is not bad either).
As usual in these cases, it is more difficult to access one of the units than the disbursement of the amount established by the manufacturer. In fact, they are all sold. Now, the 10 chosen only have to wait a couple of years to have in the garage one of the most exclusive cars on the planet.
