The resonant transition of the Russian midfielder Alexei Sutormin from Orenburg to Zenit in transit through Kazan Rubin received an unexpected continuation.

According to the RPL electronic competition management system (ESUS), 50 thousand rubles were paid for the player’s transfer. It is noted that initially this amount was transferred from the Rubin treasury in favor of Orenburg, and subsequently the richest club in Russia, Zenit, paid the same amount of money for Sutormin.

This is due to the fact that the RFU regulation on the status and transitions of players determines that a new player team, upon a subsequent transition, should pay 5.5% of the transfer amount to sports schools and teams participating in its preparation up to the age of 23.

In addition, compensation for the transfer of Sutormin relies not only on “Volgar”, but also on the academy “Strogino”, “Khimki” and “Zenith”. For all these teams, the midfielder managed to play from 2006 to 2017. Thus, for the education of one of the main candidates for the Russian national team, each of them will receive 494 rubles.

Such information came as a surprise not only for journalists, but also for former midfielder employers.

For example, Sharokhin, in whose name the above-mentioned letter was sent, admitted that he did not yet know what kind of assessment to give to what had happened.

The director of the sports school, Alexander Shirko, said that the children's institution had originally counted on compensation from the transfer amount of € 2 million, in connection with this they decided to refuse the current offer.
