The resonant transition of the Russian midfielder Alexei Sutormin from Orenburg to Zenit in transit through Kazan Rubin received an unexpected continuation.

So, in the media were published data on the official transfer value of the player. According to the RPL electronic competition management system (ESUS), 50 thousand rubles were paid for the player’s transfer. It is noted that initially this amount was transferred from the Rubin treasury in favor of Orenburg, and subsequently the richest club in Russia, Zenit, paid the same amount of money for Sutormin.

Such a deal is unusual for several reasons at once. At the moment, there are no similar prices for RPL players on the transfer market. So, Dmitry Zhivoglyadov cost Lokomotiv € 2.8 million, while Spartak had to pay only € 300 thousand less for Reziuan Mirzov. Sutormina can be considered comparable in class with the above-mentioned athletes, so it should cost about the same.

In addition, the midfielder quite successfully spent the previous season, during which he became the most successful Orenburg footballer with nine goals and two assists. This helped him not only raise his market value to the level of € 3.5 million (according to Transfermarkt), but also lead the team to seventh place in the championship standings.

Such a transition may cost Zenit serious problems in the future. The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) closely monitors compliance with the rules of financial fair play (FFP), and the situation with Sutormin may seem suspicious

Clubs and the player himself have not yet commented on the published information.

“Children have more contracts!”

Later, other transaction data appeared on the network. The Kazan edition of Sport Business Online published a photo that allegedly depicts a letter signed by Rubin’s general director, Rustem Saimanov, to Andrei Sharokhin, general director of the Astrakhan Volgar, for which Sutormin spoke in the period from 2015 to 2018. In it, the functionary reports compensation payments that the team will receive, and also gives the exact amount of the transfer - 50 thousand rubles.

This is due to the fact that the RFU regulation on the status and transitions of players determines that a new player team, upon a subsequent transition, should pay 5.5% of the transfer amount to sports schools and teams participating in its preparation up to the age of 23.

In addition, compensation for the transfer of Sutormin relies not only on “Volgar”, but also on the academy “Strogino”, “Khimki” and “Zenith”. For all these teams, the midfielder managed to play from 2006 to 2017. Thus, for the education of one of the main candidates for the Russian national team, each of them will receive 494 rubles.

Such information came as a surprise not only for journalists, but also for former midfielder employers.

For example, Sharokhin, in whose name the above-mentioned letter was sent, admitted that he did not yet know what kind of assessment to give to what had happened.

“I can’t comment on this situation yet. We sent inquiries to the RFU and clubs on this issue. We are waiting for an answer from them, ”the functionary said.

The news was perceived negatively by representatives of Khimki. The director of the sports school, Alexander Shirko, said that the children's institution had originally counted on compensation from the transfer amount of € 2 million, in connection with this they decided to refuse the current offer.

“We probably won’t strain such rich clubs so financially. Do we need this? We will spend more paper on the preparation of the corresponding request. Apparently, a football player of such a level that he costs only 50 thousand rubles. Children have the first contract more! And here the player goes into one of the richest teams in Russia, maybe Europe. It turns out what turns out. Let's think, ”Sportbox quotes Shirko.

"Clubs are forced to go for it."

New data on the most scandalous transfer of recent years forced experts and football agents to talk about a possible violation of financial fair play and a number of FIFA regulations. According to one of Russia's leading agents, Alexei Safonov, the Federation may be interested in the terms of the deal.

“Of course, our grandees maintain a balance between spending and the receipt of funds. But imagine, what would happen if it became known about the purchase or sale of Malcom for 50 thousand rubles? Noise would be around the world, ”explained the specialist in an interview with RT.

According to Safonov, if the transfer amount really amounted to 50 thousand rubles, those who need it more than Russian grants will remain without the necessary funds for development.

“I mean the trainers and the school that raised Sutormina. Given this transfer, they will receive about 10 thousand rubles. In my opinion, this is not entirely fair for raising a candidate for the Russian national team, ”the agent summed up.

At the request of RT, another well-known football agent Dmitry Selyuk also evaluated the transfer data. The specialist ironically reacted to the ransom amount of Sutormin.

“50 thousand rubles? Even a bit too much, overpaid (laughs). And for that kind of money, any fan could buy Sutormina, ”the expert noted in a conversation with RT.

And after he explained that many teams are taking similar steps in trying to avoid sanctions for violation of the FFP.

“By and large, our clubs are forcing this. It would be better if everyone was allowed to spend as much as they are able to. And so, you have to trick and make people laugh with such deals. In fact, many teams do this. And not only Russian, but also European. And I do not see anything criminal in this. Otherwise, how to make money on football? It turns out that the statement contains only expenses and zero income. Then what should athletes buy? ”, Selyuk explained.
