Last Wednesday, Damkronorna announced that all 43 players selected to boycott the national team collection on Bosön and the subsequent five-nation tournament in Finland. The boycott was part of a protest against the, according to the players, substandard conditions for the women's crown and the lack of respect from the union in the matter.

SVT Sport has followed the conflict since it flared up and has on several occasions tried on several occasions to get a comment from the union. The highest official of the union, chairman Anders Larsson, has not until today responded to SVT's attempt to reach him. In a text message Larsson writes:

The Chairman referred the matter further

“Just landed on Arlanda after an Asia trip. Refer you to Tommy Boustedt, who is SIF's spokesperson on the issue ”

Boustedt first commented on SVT Sport where the secretary general said he was "surprised" about the demands of the Women's Crowns and that the union had the same agreement with the women's and men's teams. Two days later, Boudstedt SVT Sport replied in an email:

“We have had a short direct contact with SICO, but have not yet received any documentation or other direct contact with us. If or when we get it, we primarily discuss it directly with SICO. That's why I have no other comments to give right now. "

Today Tommy Boustedt commented that he has nothing to add to SVT Sport.
