LONDON (Reuters) - Spurs secured a 2-2 draw at champions Manchester City on Saturday in the second round of the Premier League.

The Citizens were led by Raheem Stirling (20) and then Argentine Eric Lamela equalized for Tottenham (24).

Argentine Sergio Aguero scored the second goal for the Celestial team (34), but the Brazilian substitute Lucas Mora responded with a goal equalizing for Tottenham (56).

Brazilian substitute Gabriel Jesus scored a fatal goal for Man City in the third minute of stoppage time, but was overturned by the referee after returning to the video assistant referee (FAR).

Each team scored one point, taking City to four points in third place, the same as Tottenham in fifth place, two points behind Liverpool and Arsenal leaders.
