Borussia Dortmund kicked off their Bundesliga campaign with a 5-1 home win over Augsburg on Saturday in the first round.
Wolfsburg beat Cologne 2-1, Fortuna Düsseldorf beat Werder Bremen 3-1, Bayer Leverkusen beat Paderborn 3-2, Freiburg beat Mainz 3-0.
In the most important game Florian Niederlichner led Augsburg after 30 seconds, Baku Alcacer equalized (3), then Jadon Sancho added the second goal for Dortmund (51) and Marco Rios widened the difference with the third goal (57) to return Alcacer and his second goal for his team (59) before Julian Brandt concludes the Festival of Black Festival goals with a fifth goal (82).
The winning team have won their first three points this season, and Augsburg remain without points.
