Bayern Munich usually start the seasons in the best possible way. Over the past eleven years, the German big club has won all its premieres.

This time, however, it did not want to.

Despite Robert Lewandowski opening up the goal account for the 2019/2020 season with two struts, it was only 2-2 at home against last year's table elf Hertha BSC. This after the visitors turned sub-0-1 to lead 2-1 in the first half. Lewandowski then put 2-2 on penalty when the hour was played.

But the Bayern supporters can still lose their points, despite the fact that more star gloss is on the way.

Bayern Munich have agreed with FC Barcelona to lend brass star Philippe Coutinho next season.

- We can confirm that there is in principle an agreement for the loan of Coutinho to Bavaria and we just need to conclude the agreement, says Barcelona club manager Guillermo Amor.

In the next round Schalke 04 is waiting for Bayern Munich.
