Olympique Lyonnais official Wednesday night signing for five years offensive midfielder Angers Jeff Queen-Adelaide.
A 5 year contract
The transfer amount is 25 million euros. To this sum can be added a maximum of 2.5 million euros of bonus and a percentage of 15% on resale in case of capital gain. French international hopefuls, the 21-year-old, who arrived in Lyon in the afternoon to pass the medical examination necessary for the finalization of the transfer, signed a 5-year contract with OL to run until 30 June 2024 .
From Torcy to Olympique Lyonnais
To validate the transaction, Lyon was to receive the agreement of the English club Arsenal, where Queen-Adelaide (21 years) played in 2015-2018 and has a preferential clause (redemption) on the player.
Jeff Reine-Adelaïde was trained in Torcy, near Paris, before joining RC Lens (2010-2015) then Arsenal. He was then loaned without option to buy in Angers (L1) in the first half of 2018 before signing definitively with the Angevin club in July of that year.
