Kungsbacka took their first win of the season
It would be a safe third for Linköping. But after a red card and two late goals, Kungsbacka was able to turn around and take his first win of the season. Big match hero became Sara Nilsson who stood for both home team goals.
It was a Nilla Fischer-solved Linköping who went to Kungsbacka to retrieve three sticks home to Östergötland. Despite Fischer's absence, Linköping was stellar and lost a 1-0 lead in the final minutes of the match.Linköping took the lead
Linköping was the strongest in the beginning and despite a red card in the 31st minute at Linn Bogren, they would also take the lead in the beginning of the second half through Frida Leonhardsen Maanum. After a tense situation in the penalty area, Lina Hurtig, lying down, was able to play the ball to a free Leonhardsen Maanum who could easily send in a wide shot from close range and 1-0 to the visitors.
Kungsbacka who most recently came from a 6-0 cod in the west coast exchange to Gothenburg stumbled in sporadic attacks, but it was the decimated Linköping that was closer to a management goal than Kungsbacka a receipt.Late turn for the home team
Sara Nilsson would acknowledge, however. In the 89th, the striker got a post into the penalty area which she first checked well and then used her strength to keep Linköpingsbacken out before she could send 1-1 behind Matilda Haglund in Linköpingskassen.
But it was not over there. In the final minute of the match Sara Nillson got the position again. After a Linköping break, the ball ended up with Nilsson in the penalty area, which pulled straight. Haglund in the away goal was on the ball but in spite of it threw the ball in and wild joy among the Kungsbacka players.
With the loss, Linköping loses important points in the top match and is now eight points behind leading Rosengård. Kungsbacka, on the other hand, takes up the fight at the bottom and taps into a form guard Djurgården who currently holds the qualifying spot.
