Ajax starts again on Tuesday with Dusan Tadic in the rush in the return at home against PAOK in the third preliminary round of the Champions League. Kasper Dolberg was not even included in the race selection by coach Erik ten Hag.
Tadic was already in the spotlight last Saturday in the 5-0 won competition against FC Emmen. He was then replaced fifteen minutes before time by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who even scored two more goals.
Dolberg was the striker in the first match at PAOK (2-2) and the first competition match against Vitesse (2-2), but he did not make a very good impression there and, after a half hour's time, dropped out of PAOK after half an hour with a hip injury.
It is not yet known why Ten Hag is not using Dolberg on Tuesday, but rumors are that he will leave on Wednesday for rent to Bayer Leverkusen from former Ajax coach Peter Bosz.
Ajax-PAOK will start on Tuesday at 8.30 p.m. in the sold-out Johan Cruijff ArenA and will be led by English referee Craig Pawson. The diptych winner will face FK Qarabag or APOEL Nicosia in the play-offs.
Ajax setup: Onana; Mazraoui, Veltman, Martinez, Tagliafico; Blind, Marin, Van de Beek; Ziyech, Tadic, Neres.
Setup PAOK: Not yet known.
