Cori Gauff gets a wild card for his second Grand Slam tournament which starts on August 26th. As a result, the teenager from Florida does not have to qualify.

15-year-old Gauff hosted a fantastic tournament in Wimbledon where she finally got to face the world leader and the late winner of the tournament - Simona Halep.

Gauffs has only 12 tournaments left to play on the WTA tour before she turns 16, as the rules do not allow her to enter as many as possible.

Had she accepted to play the qualifier instead of getting the wildcard directly, she would have had two more tournaments.
