Frida Wallberg was beaten twice in the eighth round of the WBC match against Diana Prazak. The Swede had to be operated on urgently and was anesthetized for two days.

Now she is struggling to get back to a normal life.

- It has been very emotional, that I now even sit here is absolutely fantastic. I couldn't go from the beginning, and now I can. There has been a lot of hospitals, rehabilitation and training. I've trained the memory - to count and read, Wallberg tells SVT Sport.

"Glad to have had the chance to come back"

- I go with constant pain every day. One day it's okay, the next day I have a terrible pain. I still eat medicine so you can't plan that much. You have to take one day at a time, she explains.

Wallberg hovered between life and death, and now she focuses on becoming who she was before the hemorrhage.

- It's emotional, as I said. You don't even know if you can be fully restored. But you have to fight. The only thing I want is to come back and be the mom I've always been to my daughter. And be the Frida I have always been. So I don't think much about the future, I'm just glad to have had the chance to fight myself back.

"Such as happens at the elite level"

- I'm not depressed about this. This is what happens at the elite level. Now it was unfortunate but I will fight back - I look at life differently, more positive. I'm glad I'm sitting here.
