CSKA still lacks stability

Last season, young army men periodically alternated beautiful victories with unexpected loss of points. As a result, the lost Victoria over Ufa and the home defeat from Orenburg actually left the team without the Champions League.

Unfortunately, at the start of this season, the red-blue ones demonstrated that this disease has not disappeared, and the young team continues to lose points where, in theory, it should not do this. In the first round, Viktor Goncharenko’s wards in Samara lost to “Wings of the Soviets”, who after that lost four games in a row, and in the fifth parted with the newcomer RPL “Sochi”, who had gained only one point before that.

Although the army team did everything to win and deserved at least one ball, but luck did not smile at them. Nevertheless, such misfires can again play a cruel joke with the team.

CSKA did not miss again

Among the positive results for the army team, one can single out the third consecutive match for “zero” Igor Akinfeev. Last spring, the red and blue missed a lot, but with the departure of Rodrigo Bekao, it seemed that the problems of CSKA in defense would only worsen. However, at the start of the season, the defenders of the team played really badly only with Wings of the Soviets.

On reflection, Goncharenko decided to stop the experiments and returned to his favorite scheme with three centerdefs. After that, the red-blue missed only once in four matches. Moreover, in the game with Sochi, Igor Diveev was left in reserve, and Zvonimir Charliya came out at the start.

However, the defense of CSKA and in this match acted far not sinless. She was especially unsuccessful in the first minutes when several penetrating passes passed behind the defenders of the hosts. At these moments, Igor Akinfeev insured his partners. And in the most dangerous episode, Andrei Mostovoy ran out to a rendezvous with the goalkeeper, but missed the target.

Goncharenko's decisions were correct

For a long time, Goncharenko did not change the tactical arrangement of CSKA, but in the middle of the second half he still resorted to his favorite move - instead of Bistrovich he threw Yaka Biyola into battle. Moreover, the high Slovenian went ahead in a couple to Fedor Chalov.

And this move fully paid off. The high midfielder began, as always, competently clinging to the balls and throwing them to partners. It is not surprising that in the end, CSKA literally pushed the opponent to the goal. Forget the army team - and they had moments - and everyone would have praised Goncharenko for excellent castling, but luck, as already mentioned, was not enough for the hosts.

Sigurdsson injury

Another impressive fly in the ointment for CSKA was the injury of Ragnar Sigurdsson. In the middle of the first half, he went extremely unsuccessfully into the fight for the ball and was injured. The Icelander could not get up from the lawn for a long time, and it was clear that he was in great pain.

The young football player left the field himself, but could not continue the game. It is difficult to say how severe the damage was to Sigurdsson, however, he went into the tribune room with tears in his eyes. And this is not a figure of speech - Ragnar really cried and wiped his face wet from tears with a T-shirt. Fans held him to applause.

Konstantin Kuchaev was also very warmly welcomed, who only recently recovered from a serious injury. Fans immediately after the graduation of CSKA in exchange began to chant his name and surname.

Progress Sochi

After the match, everyone mainly talks about how unlucky CSKA is. On the other hand, it is impossible not to note the progress of Sochi.

Let the team demonstrate fairly closed football, but do it competently. In Moscow, the guests blocked virtually all approaches to their gates, dropping to their half with an impenetrable “block”.

At the same time, the Sochi team quite aggressively joined in the pressure on the alien half of the field and caught the opponent on mistakes.

It has already been said that in the first half they several times threw the ball behind the backs of the defenders. True, in the second half, the Premier League rookie finally clung to his goal, but achieved his goal.

And, of course, one cannot fail to note the appearance of Christian Noboa as part of Sochi. Ecuadorian entered the field from the first minutes and immediately gave the game meaningfulness to the team.

He not only performed a large amount of work, but also directed the attacking actions with competent transmissions. It seems that the acquisition of an experienced Ecuadorian can be called the club’s main success in the summer transfer window.
