Manns has had a pretty heavy season and only played one game from the start, the loss game against Falkenberg. Instead, he has been allowed to play U21 matches to stay in match form.

On Saturday morning he did his first workout with his new club.

- It is a difference to play matches every week. Of course it is. But I am healthy and have kept up a lot and played U21 matches which has been a good way to find back. But I feel absolutely ready to step in.

This is what Kalmar FF's acting sports director Jesper Norberg says about the new acquisition:

- It was an important puzzle piece and great fun that we managed to land Jesper to Kalmar. We wanted a player who can come in and help lift the team and there we feel we have found just the right thing. Jesper will contribute directly with his experience, quality and speed, he says.

The acquisition is Kalmar's second this summer. They have already picked up midfielder Samuel Adrian from Malmö FF.
