Johaug's time can be enough for the European medal

Therese Johaug's time at 10,000 meters at the Norwegian Championships is only a second worse than the time that gave Meraf Bahta the bronze European Championship 2018. - I would like to see her at the European Championships. It would have been very exciting, says NRK athletics commentator Jann Post to NRK.

So the Norwegian ski star is also good in running, and the time 32.20.87 is really good. In fact, it would have been enough for a medal fight if one starts from the times in the last European Championship final, when Meraf Bahta 2018 clinched the bronze at 32.19.34.

Johaug has already passed the European Championship qualifying limit, and has expressed a desire to compete at the Championship 2020 if she can get it into the schedule without too much disruption to the ski season.

- It would have been fun to test. But then you have to prepare a little more than I did now, she told NRK after the race on Sunday.

Johaug has the 69th best time in the world today, but at the top are most of the names from countries outside Europe. Among European runners, Johaug's time is the 15th best, but then the majority of the peak times have come on big crowds with cruise lanes, but Johaug had to compete without it.
