The African Football Confederation (CAF) confirmed on Thursday that it is awaiting details of the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport concerning the final of the African Champions League before announcing its final decision.

"The African Football Confederation (AU) announces that the relevant committees will meet soon to decide on this issue, and the details will be announced on time," he said.

The Swiss court on Wednesday canceled the African Union's decision to return the return match between Esperance of Tunisia and Morocco's Ould Oval in a neutral stadium on grounds of "unsafe conditions".

After appeals from the two clubs, the Sports Court ruled that the AU Executive Committee "has no authority" to return the final, overturned the decision, and requested the Continental Union to refer the case to the appropriate committee for final decision.
