The Russian Boxing Federation will make life-long payments to the Dadashev family

Earlier, Maxim Dadashev, who underwent surgery for cerebral edema after a fight with Puerto Rican Subriel Matias, died in the United States.

Dadashev, as part of a boxing evening in the United States, lost to Puerto Rican Sabriel Matias, having suffered his first defeat in his professional career.

After the fight, the Russian lost consciousness and was taken to hospital with a diagnosis of "brain edema." Subsequently, Dadashev underwent surgery.
