The regular season starts on September 1 and ends on February 27. The play-off should start on March 1, and the seventh match of the Gagarin Cup final, if necessary, is scheduled for March 30.
A total of 744 matches will be played. Each of the 24 teams will play 62 meetings in the regular season.
Twice all the clubs will meet each other (46 matches), 10 each with the teams of their division and six each with the teams of the neighboring division of their conference.
