The Angolan team imposed a positive 1-1 draw against their Tunisian counterpart on Monday in the opening match of Group E of the African Cup of Nations at the Suez Stadium in Egypt.

Yusef Al-Masaqani shoved the net from the penalty spot after a foul on striker Naeem Al-Sulaiti, who was executed by defender Baezo at the end of a planned set-up to put Tunisia ahead 34 minutes later.

Galma Campos equalized for Angola in the 73rd minute, following a good follow-up by goalkeeper Farouk Ben Mustapha.

Both Tunisia and Angola won their first point in the group, which also includes Mali and Mauritania, who will face later in the day.
