FINISH - Max Verstappen finishes the third free practice in fourth place, just two tenths from Charles Leclerc who leads the times list. Valtteri Bottas is second, Lewis Hamilton third. The differences between the top four are zero, so that promises something for the qualification.

Formula 1 · 4 minutes ago

2 minutes left - Verstappen (P4) was on a fast lap, but had to stop trying because he was hindered by traffic in the third sector.

Formula 1 · 9 minutes ago

7 more minutes - Again Verstappen (P4) improves his time, but not his position. With 1.11.539, it is 0.244 seconds slower than the fastest time in Leclerc.

    Formula 1 · 15 minutes ago

Another 13 min - Verstappen (P4) improves his time but not his place. He is approaching the fastest time in Leclerc (P1) to three tenths.

Another 20 minutes - Ferrari and Mercedes start their qualification simulations. Bottas is the first to improve sharply and sharpen the fastest time (1.11.388). Leclerc then takes Bottas' fastest time: 1.11.265.

    Formula 1 · 25 minutes ago

Another 23 minutes - Red Bull makes a small change to the set-up of Verstappen's car. The Dutchman will go outside again in the short term. The score:

  • Bottas
  • Hamilton
  • Verstappen

    Formula 1 · 33 minutes ago

31 minutes left - Charles Leclerc must report to the stewards after the training. The Monegask probably drove too fast during the virtual safety car, which was caused by teammate Vettel. Last year Vettel received a grid sentence for a similar offense in Austin.
