The new national football team, announced by Dutch coach Van Burt Marwijk and includes 27 players, has retained the 13 players who participated in the recent Asian Cup held in the UAE, the return of Al-Obeid and Saudi Al Hilal player Omar Abdul Rahman. The unit was temporarily suspended due to participation in the 16th round of the Asian Champions.

Amouri is the most prominent return to the white list, having missed a long and did not participate in the last Asian Cup, because of cruciate ligament injury since last October.

The return of Amuri is a great addition to the team during his next journey, where he finally recovered from injury and became ready for training.

He is preparing to set up an outside camp in Salzburg, Austria, from July 13 to 22, in preparation for the joint qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup, which will be drawn in July, after the end of qualifying for the lower-ranked teams.

It was Marvik's first official mission since the Football Association signed him in March. The list also saw the return of Amouri return player Alnasr Habib Al Fardan, and included for the first time player Ajman Mohammed Ali Shaker, next to Bani Yas Hassan Al Mahrami.

It is worth mentioning that the list was absent from some of the players who were a key element in the recent Asian Cup, such as Ismail Ahmed, Amer Abdulrahman, Mohammed Abdul Rahman, Mohammed Ahmed and Fares Juma.
