MADRID (Reuters) - Argentine legend Diego Maradona, current coach of Doros de Sinaloa, has been fined for giving Maradona the victory of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

The Argentine legend had given his team's victory over Tampio Madero "3-2" in the Mexican league to Nicolas Maduro and all the Venezuelan people.

The Mexican Confederation said in a statement that Maradona would be punished with a fine, without mentioning its value, for violating the ethics of the Football Union, demanding that he be neutral at the political level.

Maradona's position in the midst of a severe political crisis in Venezuela, reflected on the economic situation and living, and the Mexican Confederation to enter into a confrontation with Mardona but away from political affairs, being kicked out of the stadium last January, for the players and members of Atletico San Luis in the final leg Away Second Class Competitions.

Maradona has had close ties with the Venezuelan government since the rule of Salvador Hugo Chávez.
