On Saturday, FC Barcelona announced a video showing the future changes that the stadium of the Catalan club will undergo. This important work will begin in April and finish by 2022.
From 99,000 to 105,000 places, this is one of the main changes that Camp Nou Barça will undergo. With this increase in the capacity of the stadium is added the installation of a roof, covering all the stands for an estimated cost of € 360 million. The work will begin at the end of this season and will end in 2022. Lionel Messi and his teammates will be able to continue playing at Camp Nou during the works.
But there will not be only Camp Nou that will have a new face. FC Barcelona unveiled in a second video its ambitious project "Espai Barça" which shows that the other facilities of the Catalan club will be modernized by 2022.
