UAE judo team Victor Sakratov, UAE, won the bronze medal in judo at 73 kg after beating Kyrgyzstan's Pictor Risimam in the judo tournament at the Guelora Bong Karno Stadium in Jakarta in the Asian Games. With the participation of 45 Asian countries, raising the number of medals won by the UAE in this session so far to 13 medals, including 3 gold and 6 silver and 4 bronze.
Victor had qualified for the bronze medal after winning the full mark on Saudi player Sulaiman Hamad and Uzbek Kasimengun Popov while losing to Japanese player Shohei Ono.
The judo player, Toma Sergio, who won the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, is due to take part in the 90 kg class. Ivan Romarenko will take part in the 100kg competition.
